Independent Living Services:

1. Nine floor plans are available for selection: Studio, Flex, one bedroom standard, one bedroom super, one bedroom standard plus, one bedroom deluxe, two bedroom standard, two bedroom super, and two bedroom deluxe.

2. Northern Hills Independent Living has 71 apartments.

3. The community features four stairwells and an elevator to accommodate garden level, first, and second floor apartments.

4. Rent is collected on a month-to month basis and do not require long-term contracts.

Resident Services:

• Facility amenities are provided to give our residents more convenience and choices in their lifestyle. Our Independent Living Community features a, billiards room, activity/library room and use of wellness center, theatre/chapel room at our Assisted Living building. Our spacious great room features a bird aviary with a double sided fireplace for having cozy conversations as well as hosting large functions.

• Safety designed bathrooms. Whirlpool bathing is available in our unique no-lift tub with side entry for relaxation and comfort at our Assisted Living building.

• Beauty Shop and barbering services are available in the building by appointment.

• Fully equipped kitchens with a refrigerator/freezer, oven, and garbage disposal.

• Activities are tailored by our Life Enrichment Coordinator to appeal to our resident’s interests: crafts, games, cards, current event reviews, outside entertainment, and van outings on a weekly basis.

Meal Services:

• Daily continental breakfast is served in our dining room.

• Our noon meal is served restaurant style in our dining room. Residents exercise independent choices in meal selections.

• Guest dining is available, just notify the office with reservations so our residents continue to enjoy special meals with family and friends.

Housekeeping and Laundry Services:

• Bi-weekly housekeeping is provided along with garbage pickup

• Basic laundry services include changing and washing bedding and flat linens bi-weekly.

• Northern Hills features a free onsite laundry room. Residents may choose to do their own laundry, or have their family do it.

Transportation and Maintenance Services:

• Transportation is available by the facility to medical appointments, special requests, and leisure shopping trips. A van with a wheelchair lift is offered.

• Complete maintenance of building and grounds is provided. This includes snow removal, trash pickup, and personal vehicle assistance.

• Regular maintenance and repair of apartment appliances is provided.

Security Services:

• All apartments have fire and smoke alarms, and the community also has sprinkler units.

• Emergency notification phone system, along with 24-hour staffing.

Apartment Floor Plans:

Apartments are priced according to square footage. We have 9 floor plans to choose from at our independent living community:

Garages are available for $40.00 per month

Apartments are selected and held by a $500 refundable deposit for four weeks.
